White 1.e4:
This is the most common first move in chess. 1.e4 is known for being a "open" game, and leads to sharp positions. Many of the top players play this, and you may have played it a couple times yourself. The Vienna game is for white, and can be a very powerful opening because it is so rare. after e4, to get to the Vienna game starting position, black must play;
