The book that I was trying to model my book after was "My 60 Memorable Games". I mean that book is a classic. He gets straight to the point. He goes straight to the game and gives you all those, sometimes nifty, psychological descriptions or explanations of why he did this, or did that.

I read ‘My 60 Memorable Games’ and I think it’s a good book. The comments are not too long, but relatively exact. There are some inaccuracies, but not many, especially for that time.

Another book I love is Attack with Mikhail Tal by Tal and Damsky. It's also magnificent.

Besides, I enjoy Seven Deadly Chess Sins by Jonathan Rowson. It's a very atypical book which raises extremely important topics. I think that if a world-class GM studies it well, he/she could get a kind of a manual on psychological struggle at the top level.

The "Seven Deadly Chess Sins" and "Chess for Zebras" are both fantastic books on chess psychology.

Among endgame books I’d recommend the wonderful works by Mikhail Shereshevsky.

I was never much of a book person although I have read a few books here and there over the years. I really enjoyed Endgame Strategy by Mikhail Shereshevsky.
