🞫 By default arrows will provide hints to show which moves are in this study. Using the options below you can control for how many moves the arrows/hints should stay visible. By default they stay visible until all moves in a position has been played twice. Any non-playable arrow annotations from the study or PGN file will appear as transparent arrows.
White 1.f4:
White goes for dark square control in the center. Controlling the e5 square helps accentuate the reach of a bishop on b2, as black won't be able to blockade the diagonal with a pawn on e5. White also gets to choose when to advance his center.
In general, this opening has quite aggressive intentions and we'll see how white can turn his normal development into a quick attack.
Black response 1...d5:
This is the main move. The positions and variations are very similar to the Dutch ( in fact, it is a Dutch with a tempo extra for white )
Black response 1...Nh6:
is the first move that I suggest, I'll look at this in the next chapter
